We exist for students.

Take action.

It all begins with an idea. A problem. A passion. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to invent a product. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world that will make a difference in one or thousands of lives. Whatever it is, the way you take action and tell your story can make all the difference in your world.

You may not have known how to start, who to talk to, or where to go to ‘make a difference’. By reading this, you already have. You have started making an effort to learn more about the world around you- the places, the people, the planet, and the problems- and Vancouver India Education Project is here to help.

We have partnered with some incredible organizations doing life-changing and inspiring things to offer projects for you to work on with peers across time zones and oceans. VIEP’s virtual platform gives you a place to meet to discuss, explore, research, debate, share, hypothesize, and collaborate to solve problems and provide solutions to communities around the world.

The focus across our project offerings is the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from the United Nations. We encourage you to learn more about the SDGs through the information provided on our site and on the UN’s official website.

Keep in touch with us as we continue to develop the project structure and grow our partners. We will be sure to share more as we lead up to our official launch in January 2024.

THE 17 GLOBAL GOALS

The Sustainable Development Goals are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet. They recognize that ending poverty must go hand-in-hand with strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.
