Ther Greater Vancouver Board of Trade (GVBOT) is a non-profit organization that represents businesses of all sizes and sectors in the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia. It was founded in 1887 and is one of the oldest and most influential business organizations in Canada.

The GVBOT’s mission is to promote and support the interests of its members and the business community in the Greater Vancouver area. It does this by providing. a platform for networking, advocacy, and education. The organization hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including networking events, seminars, and conferences, to help members connect with each other and stay informed about the latest business trends and issues.

The Climate Action Network of International Educators (CANIE) is a global network of educators who are committed to promoting climate action and sustainability in education. The organization was founded in 2019.

CANIE’s mission is to empower educators to take action on climate change and sustainability in their classrooms, schools, and communities. The organization provides resources, training, and support to help educators integrate climate action and sustainability into their teaching and learning practices.
